A total Solar Eclipse truly is one of nature’s most awe-inspiring sights! And so this print is not a just a quick reproduction from a photograph. Instead its a drawn comparison of different states and shots of an eclipse, painted as multiple large-format abstractions by hand and successively recombined into a new composition. The resulting abstraction was then processed digitally, rendered as halftones and screen-printed by hand with an opaque white ink and one of the blackest paper stocks available.
